School Info

RJ Richey is a campus that is focusing on college readiness.  We want our students to realize their potential and begin thinking about their future.  To prepare for this we are teaching our students about organization, note taking and metacognition.  Metacognition is the process of thinking about your own thinking.  This is important because we all learn differently and when a person understands how they learn they get better at it.  Talk to your child about how they think and learn, this is an awareness that can help them throughout life.   We see school as only the beginning of the learning process.
