Karen is a well-informed, fearless leader. Her knowledge and expertise of data and curriculum makes her an educational powerhouse. She builds relationships with students, parents, and staff. She makes sure her students feel well loved each and every day, but also has high expectations of all her students. She is always willing to drop everything she is doing to answer questions and help others regardless of how busy she is. Karen is genuine in her actions both with her students and fellow workers. Despite the “hard days” she arrives with a smile on her face and a hug for each student. She is truly the type of teacher every parent dreams about for their child. Karen shows Spirit, Pride and Honor daily in her interactions with all…BCISD is lucky to have her!
