Dulce Hudgins

Welcome! I am so excited to be your child's third-grade teacher! My name is Dulce Hudgins, and I am thrilled to start this school year! It is my first year teaching, and I know it’s going to be a lot of fun creating lifelong learners and leaders!

I was born and raised right here in Burnet. I actually went through the bilingual program as a student at RJ myself. My husband also grew up in Burnet, and we hope our one-year-old son will attend Burnet schools as well.

I earned my degree in bilingual elementary education from Texas Tech University! Although this is my first year as a teacher, I completed two years of student teaching in bilingual classrooms in Marble Falls. I am excited to make a positive impact on your child's life, and I hope to provide them with the tools to strengthen their English skills throughout the year. My goal is for them to finish the year prepared and ready to use English with greater comfort and confidence!

¡Bienvenidos! ¡Estoy muy emocionada por ser la maestra de su hijo o hija de tercer grado! ¡Me llamo Dulce Hudgins y estoy entusiasmada por empezar este año escolar! ¡Es mi primer año como maestra y sé que este año será muy divertido crear estudiantes que serán líderes! 

Nací aquí en Burnet y he crecido aquí toda mi vida. Yo también  pasé por el programa bilingüe como estudiante en RJ Richey. Mi esposo también creció en Burnet y me gustaría que nuestro hijo de un año también estudie en las escuelas de Burnet.

¡Obtuve mi licenciatura en educación bilingüe para estudiantes de primaria de la Universidad de Texas Tech! Este será mi primer año como maestra, pero completé mis prácticas profesionales en Marble Falls en aulas bilingües durante dos años. Estoy muy emocionada al saber que podré tener un impacto positivo en la vida de su hijo o hija y espero que al terminar el año escolar, les pueda dar herramientas para hacer crecer su inglés. ¡Deseo que, al terminar el año, estén preparados y listos para utilizar su inglés con mayor comodidad y confianza!
