Mrs. Fambrough 4th Grade Math and Science

Hello! My name is MaKayla Fambrough and I am SO excited to be teaching fourth grade math and science at RJ Richey Elementary School. It is my honor to be your teacher! This will be my first year with Burnet CISD due to my husband getting a job at the high school. We moved to Burnet this past summer and I am already in love with the hill country. I have taught both third and fourth grade in all subject areas. I worked in Leander and Georgetown for a few years, as well as in the state of Florida. My husband coaches football and track, so I spend a lot of my time outside of the classroom supporting high school sports! In my free time outside of sports, I enjoy reading, trying new restaurants, exercising, being outdoors, kayaking/paddleboarding, and spending time with my dog Ace. Ace is a six year old Yorkie mix! I graduated from Tarleton State University with my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with my ESL certification. I have a strong passion for education and becoming a life long learner. We never stop learning!
