Caitlyn Guenter

ALL ABOUT MRS. GUENTER
My name is Caitlyn Guenter, and I will be continuing my role as a Dyslexia Therapist for RJ Richey this year! This will be my fifteenth year in education, and my seventh year teaching in a dyslexia intervention program.
I grew up just down the road in Llano and graduated from Llano High School in 2006. After high school, I attended and graduated from The University of Texas at Austin (HOOK ‘EM!!) with a degree in Applied Learning and Development in Early Childhood Education. I began my teaching career and have taught kindergarten, first, and second grade. In my years as a classroom teacher, I developed a passion and love for teaching reading and writing, and I decided to pursue a reading interventionist role. I was given the opportunity to attend a two-year dyslexia training program through Scottish Rite Learning Center, specifically training with the Take Flight dyslexia intervention, and graduated from the program while earning my certification as a Certified Academic Language Therapist.
I met my husband while in college and moved to Burnet in 2011 after we were married. He is an electrical lineman and technical trainer for PEC. We have three beautiful daughters, Aubree, Lainee, and Brinlee, and they bring us so much joy and keep us very busy. We also have one dog, Nellie, and two cats, Bubba and Bevo. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading books, crafting, and being with friends. I am so blessed and excited to be spending the year serving our kids at RJ and look forward to learning and growing together!
