ALL ABOUT MRS. GUENTER

My name is Caitlyn Guenter and I am so excited to be teaching and working as a Dyslexia Therapist for RJ Richey this year! This will be my thirteenth year in education and my fifth year teaching in dyslexia intervention.

 I grew up just down the road in Llano and graduated from Llano High School in 2006. After high school, I attended and graduated from The University of Texas (HOOK ‘EM!!) with a degree and certification in Applied Learning and Development in Early Childhood Education. I began my teaching career and have taught kindergarten, first and second grade. In my years as a classroom teacher, I developed a passion and love for teaching reading and writing. Five years ago, I was given the opportunity to attend a two-year dyslexia training through Scottish Rite Learning Center and earned my certification as a Certified Academic Language Therapist. 

I met my husband while in college and moved to Burnet in 2011 after we were married. He is an electrical lineman and trainer for PEC. We have three beautiful daughters, Aubree (10) and Lainee (7) and Brinlee (2), and they bring us so much joy and keep us very busy.  We also have two dogs, Emma and Benji, and two cats, Bubba and Tiger. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading books, crafting, and being with friends. I am so blessed and excited to be spending the year serving our kids at RJ and look forward to learning and growing together!
