Angie Zachos

Hello! My name is Angie Zachos and I'm the Math Interventionist at RJ Richey Elementary. This is my 17th year in education, my 8th year in BCISD, and my third year doing Math Intervention. I've spent the majority of my teaching career in 5th grade, but I've taught math in grades 3-6 and all subjects in grades 4-5.

I graduated from Wake Forest University in 1997 with a BS in Health and Exercise Science. I earned an Associate's Degree in Spanish from the Defense Language Institute in 2000 during my time in the Army, and I earned my teaching certification from Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, NC in 2006.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. My 15 year-old son, Fin, attends high school in San Antonio and is on the ROTC drill team. We like to play board games and roller skate together.

I'm looking forward to another amazing year of working with kids to help them learn and grow!
